Finished packing.

Just a quick bit before I head off for the night...

I HAVE FINISHED PACKING!

I think this is a record for me regarding being packed before a trip. I even have the fanny pack... yes, fanny pack, loaded and ready to go. So far it just has my passport in it. Muchas gracías a Sam for lending me the pack.

Anyway, we had one last team meeting/get together at my house tonight. Watched a little So You Think You Can Dance and then bathed the trip in prayer. As it's the night before we leave, we really need prayer to 1) rest and 2) not forget anything. It was awesome tonight to gather around in my living room and realize how God has uniquely brought together a diverse group for His purpose. It is awesome to see the relationships that have been forged as we've prepared for this trip, and I can't wait to see what happens during the week.

Earlier this year our team decided the theme for this trip would be "Salvation is here", or, in Español, "¡Salvación está aquí!". It is our prayer that we are able to show the people of Buenos Aires (and every place we go between home and there) that salvation has come to the world and His name is Jesus Christ.

Thanks for all of your prayer, and I can't wait to tell you more of what happens!
